Pictures, pictures & more pictures!

Lots of pictures to share...

Jameson went to my cousin's Halloween party this past weekend. He of course had to be his own man and not wear a costume, silly boy.
This picture is from his school field trip last week. We went to the local 4H camp. He was actually pretty interested in learning about this hunting chair.
Ohio sunrise...I'm not typically up early enough to capture this light. dreamy.
Picture of me & Kelley, taken from the famous Austin. Oh boy is there a story behind this picture. Lets just say I'm actually scared to tell the story or show the picture that follows.
Here are all of the kiddos playing on one of the many wood pieces at this awesome pumpkin patch.
I love this little guy!
Now would you want to ride with that driver??
Jameson having a great time at the fall festival at Rivertree.
And there goes the bumble bee (aka William) down the ship...
While driving back home earlier this week, Jameson & I took at break at one of the many overlook spots along the WV turnpike.

Dream week!

Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. Colossians 2:7

I feel like I need to pinch myself to wake up from the dream that I'm having. I am feeling very blessed. Jameson & I went on a quick trip north for the long weekend and we both had a great time. We got to see some great friends (I even got to take some maternity pictures for my friend Julianne - she is my BFF from high school - so awesome to reconnect and get to take some pictures of her adorable baby bump), I got to get my scrap-on (Kel..now that right there is funny..ha), visited COSI & I think the highlight for Jameson was eating snow for lunch on the way home yesterday. Now for me the high point came when we pulled into the driveway last night. My dear hubby surprised me with an early birthday present...

While scrapbooking with friends I broke a personal record. I finished up a few little hybrid items, 15 scrapbook pages and a mini album recapping the summer of 2006. I'm not going to bore you with all of them now.

Look for more pictures from our trip, hopefully later today. BTW if you've noticed that the pictures that I'm posting are a bit sharper than before. I'm using a super cool action from Andrea Burns. It is the bomb!

Halloween!

Anyone that knows me fairly well knows that fall and Halloween are my favorite time of year (and the fact that my birthday is close by doesn't hurt to add to the excitement!). So last month I got a project kit from Scarlet Lime that included everything you would need to make a Halloween banner. I've wanting to play with it for a few weeks now but just hadn't been able to make time for it. I'm excited that yesterday I made time to do it and now it is part of the living room!

Not that you can totally read it but it spells out Pumpkins with lots of other little messages in there. A few of the things I did on it while I was playing...I cut apart epoxy MM pieces to cover the star (on the left triangle banner piece), the little owl from clothing that I cut apart and the scallop frame around the 's' was made from the packaging from some MM journaling spots. Overall I feel like I'm getting a bit more resourceful in my old age (see I told you my birthday was coming up).

Now our family is off to the local pumpkin patch...oh I love this time of year!!

Going fast!

Okay so I have some fun pictures of share of everyone going fast! The first few pictures are from our trip to the state fair earlier this week. James has a friend that has a son just a few months older than Jameson. It was fun to see them play together. Jameson loves rides and roller coasters and was so excited to get to ride in the first seat for this roller coaster.

Now for the next level in speed. If you have been following the blog for at least a year you might recall our trip to the BMW driving course from last year. Tonight we returned! There was one new course for us. Rat-racing in the M3 on a wet course, with the traction control turned off. Very interesting! Basically it is a circle and you start directly across from each other to try to see who can catch the other one. First round he won, because I totally spun out (180 degrees and stalled the engine). Then he spun out and we had to break the tie and I totally did it, I actually beat my husband at a car race. The first photo below is from this first track (taken of another driver right after we got done racing - he also spun out). Then we moved over the M5 track where you basically go around a traditional track route trying to get the car to go as fast as you can. I sat this one out and was content on the sidelines with my camera in hand! James had two tries at this one. He says he didn't make it quite to 100 because the track wasn't long enough, from my vantage point it appear as if he was going that fast. We had a great time. For next year we're hoping to get some friends to go with us!!

Creations!

I am so excited about my latest creation. I have been wanting to document the little things about what makes our house a home. Well just this week this new digi kit was released that matches the look and feel of our home. So I got right to work and this is what came out...

I've been on a major photography spree lately! Here are a few of my personal favorites...

This last one is of Thomas Arthur Jolly that was born just this morning. I got to take some fun pics when he was only 7 hours old. He was a good sleepy baby!

Busy fun!

This week has been filled with lots of busy work on my part. There are moments that I feel like I'm half crazy and then I realized, not everything has to be done RIGHT now. Why is it that if I know of something that I need/want to do it has to happen right now. For example, when I open my email the goal is to answer as many as I can before I get back up. The problem with this is that I feel a bit overwhelmed if there are a lot of them. Like right now there are emails in my inbox that need action and I can't get them all done. I need to constantly remind myself that there will be tomorrow for the emails but that Jameson is only 3 years, 5 months, 3 days, 14 hours & 47 minutes ONCE.

One quick thing I wanted to let you all know about is that I'm excited to share that I've been added to another hybrid creative team. I am so excited. Andrea Burns is the designer. She designs some great things, especially boyish ones! In addition to designing digi SB items, she is also a great photographer. Here are a few things I've created in the last week using her designs.
Now I'm off to enjoy this awesome little boy!

Homecoming!

We had such a great time at homecoming this weekend. We haven't ever done the 'quick' trip to Ohio thing. It seems to have worked out great. James didn't have to take too much time off of work to join us and we got to visit with some friends.

Friday we had a great time exploring campus as a family. Jameson's favorite part was the volleyball court on campus that he thought looked like a great sandbox! After campus we headed to James' aunt and uncle's house for a little visit and dinner. Then it was decided that it would be best if Jameson spend the weekend with Joe Joe & Nana Susan. So James took him and stayed that first night with him. James said it was so funny when they went back to Jen's to pack. Jameson was following James round trying to get him to hurry up because he needed to get to Joe Joe's to ride the 4-wheeler. Silly boy. When we picked him up on Sunday it was clear that he had a great time with them.

Saturday it was neat for James & I to have the day just as a couple. We went to the football game, stopped by the silent auction and had dinner with some friends from college. The only sad part was that we later found out that Luke Perry (yes really THE Luke Perry) was on campus for rock the vote. We had gone off campus for dinner instead of going to the greek picnic. We're all a bit disappointed now but maybe another time (yeah right!).

On the way home yesterday, from the backseat Jameson asked if we were heading home (this was early in the day). We both said, "yes we'll be there in a few hours". He said "well is it going to be warmer there?". So funny since it was already almost 50, which really isn't that cold. This boy does not like the cold weather mainly because he doesn't like socks, long pants or sweatshirts. He is going to have rough time when we head north in February?!

Now I'm off to get the rest of the laundry done and feed the boy some lunch! Pictures from the weekend to come soon...
